The level of customer service, the number of errors, and the knowledge of Argeweb are TERRIBLE! The latest example: I have around 2,400 domains with Argeweb. Due to the very high renewal price, I have decided to cancel them – not renew the domains or extend their contracts (in accordance with Article 27.2 of the Terms and Conditions). I evaluated my domains and began regularly transferring some of them to another registrar, while letting the others expire. As is typical, each domain contract is concluded for a year (with the possibility of extension), which Argeweb itself specifies: - in the terms and conditions: "27.1 Tenzij schriftelijk anders overeengekomen, bedraagt de aanvankelijke duur van de Overeenkomst één (1) jaar" - with each order: "U gaat een contract met Argeweb aan voor minimaal 12 maand(en)" - with each cancellation: "Elke dienst heeft een minimale contractsduur, deze bepaalt wanneer de dienst komt te vervallen. De bijbehorende einddatum staat ook weergegeven in de table." Each domain/contract has an individual expiration date (my last domains/contracts expire in April 2027). Despite this, Argeweb set a deadline for me to transfer all (!) my domains: "We will give you until September 15, 2026, to complete the transfers. This is the final deadline." I couldn't believe it... They also sent me a list of all my domains with authorization codes and informed me: "It is important, however, that the domain names are transferred using the list". A double absurdity I've never encountered before. I wonder if this is just malicious activity on Argeweb's part or a lack of basic domain knowledge. In both cases, a TOTAL DISGRACE! 22.09.2026 Argeweb’s customer service is setting new records for stupidity and incompetence. After setting a completely unlawful deadline for transferring my domains to another registrar (!), I received a message today stating: "Any domain names that have not been transferred within the communicated timeframe remain outside our responsibility. We cannot accept responsibility for any loss of domain names resulting from the decision not to transfer them." It is one absurdity after another!
Hi IB, Thank you for your review. We are currently in contact with eachother via e-mail. We replied yesterday morning. If there is anything we can do, please reply to our e-mail. With kind regards, Argeweb
