I am very disappointed with my hosting experience with Hostinger. I was locked out of my account due to security concerns and had to upload various documents to prove that I was the account owner. I was then informed that my access had been restored. However, after just one day, the problems started again, and I am once again unable to log in to my dashboard or work on my website.
Hostinger’s AI customer service has been extremely unhelpful in resolving this issue. It repeatedly suggests solutions that do not work, leaving me stuck in a frustrating loop. Throughout this entire process, I have not been able to speak to a single human customer service representative.
This is simply unacceptable. I am paying for a hosting service that I cannot reliably access, and I have been unable to get meaningful assistance. At this point, I would prefer a refund, but even that seems impossible when I cannot reach an actual person. I expected much better from Hostinger and would not recommend their service based on this experience.
I had an issue moving my existing website from an expired hosting plan to my active plan. Mercedes was extremely friendly, helpful and professional. She sorted everything out quickly, kept my website exactly as it was.

In 2021, I purchased the basic hosting plan at a promotional price of USD 143.52 for four years. In 2026, I renewed my subscription for another four years at the regular price of USD 335.52. I had already been informed that this would be the price I would pay once the initial four-year promotional period ended and that, supposedly, it would be the standard price going forward.
A few months later, I checked how much I would have to pay for my next renewal in 2029 and discovered that the price had increased by 57.23% without any prior notice. In other words, instead of paying USD 335.52, I would have to pay USD 527.52 for the same service. This represents an increase of USD 192, which I consider excessive and unjustified, especially since the previous price had been presented as the regular rate I would pay after the promotional period ended.
Something similar happened with my domain renewal. In 2021, I paid USD 9.17 at a promotional price. The following year, in 2022, I paid the regular price I already knew I would be charged: USD 14.17. However, the prices continued to increase every year. In 2023, I paid USD 16.17; in 2024, I paid USD 17.17; and in 2025, I paid USD 18.19. As you can see, the price was never kept stable but increased every year without prior notice or justification.
Eventually, I transferred my domain to Cloudflare, which does not charge additional fees for domain management, only the cost of the domain itself. This is a useful tip for anyone reading this review who wasn't aware of this option.
What a terrible rip-off! This company takes advantage of its customers. I also moved my hosting to a more affordable provider. My website and business are small, so paying such high prices is simply not justified, especially when faced with significant increases without a clear explanation, apparently just because the company needs to cover its AI costs, even though I don't use any of those features.
The lack of transparency and constant price increases have made me lose trust in this company. I do not recommend it to anyone looking for affordable hosting and transparent pricing.
EDIT: I want to inform everyone that this company demanded my full personal information through this platform under the threat of deleting my review if I refused to provide it. Not only are they scammers, but they also can't tolerate negative reviews and are trying to silence customers who speak out about their experiences. Everything I wrote is true.
